 Listening to Light

"I am the light within you.
My only desire
is for you
to allow Me to be seen."
                                                     Rumi

The sound of Light arrives unexpectedly,

usually in the small hours of the morning when

all is quiet for a while.

The wind carries its message on delicate wings,

heard as the surf affectionately  caresses

the shores of our heart's ears.

When awakened in the middle of the night,

be mindful that what you hear is not a dream.

God speaks softly dear friends, and clearly, 

once we recognize Love's Voice.
