Everything is metaphor,
everything is poetry.
It all depends on viewpoint
and a willingness to explore everything
for its inherent beauty.
The winter rain on our driveway reveals an ocean
formed by each drop that falls.
Look hard and storms blown by strong winds
are present in an endless expanse of water.
Weather is everywhere along with tranquil ponds
where rain falls gently with soft patter.
The night sky can be moonless or filled with stars
once the wind blows clouds to their resting places.
All is possible to those who look with inner eyes,
knowing the felt sense of all that God has created.

Spring is arriving as snow disappears quickly
uncovering patches of new grass jumping ahead
in the growth cycle of life at this time of year.
Perhaps, this image is how all that will soon be green
sees Spring falling to earth with the fire,
the passion to thrust all life into the next stage of growth.
When our passion matches Nature's
we will have embarked on a new journey,
one to be enjoyed and savored as the Gift life is.
